Well while you are on active duty the branch youare in will pay 100% of your tuition, but if youuse your G.I bill while on active it will bededucted by months, you have 38 months of G.I billi think, but you can use it for anything such likeyour BA or your masters until you run out ofbenefits.

I think it depends on the state and also on howmany classes you're taking. I'm going to school inColorado. The GI Bill covers 36 months of schoolfor me, and gives me $1,075 a month if I'm goingto school full time. That means I have to take 12credit hours in the spring or fall and six in thesummer.

the GI bill gives you money while you're enrolledfull time or sometimes half time. you can usethat money for tuition, or for living. They willgive you around 1000-1300 (more or less dep oncircumstances and what you opted for when yousigned up) a month, if your tuition is12000/semester, it doesnt make that big of a dent, but if your tuition is more reasonably priced, orif you get scholarships, etc, it helps.not thatit's part of your question, but a lot of stateuniversities and some private schools offer freeor drastically reduced tuition for vets, so if youchose one of those schools, you wouldn't pay fortuition and your GI bill will go straight in yourpocket.
