Its takes at least 1 year for you to build upcredit on a credit card. And it also depends onwhere you are looking at your credit score. If youare looking on an online website likefreecreditreport.com most likely it will not beright because most banks and other places thatlook at your credit score have 3 major scales thatthe look at: exprion, equifax and 1 other.

Normally it should only take 3 months. Be patientbecause before you know it, you will have yourcredit score. I think it does take more than onecreditor though. ( I could be wrong) Good luck &don't get too in debt, because it is not worth it!

Capital One had a credit report monitoring servicethey signed me up for when I got my first creditcard from them. After about 6 months of a 0credit score, I switched to Experian CreditExpert. It is costing about twice as much, but Ifound there was actually a lot of information onmy credit report where the old service showednothing.I think having a service directly from acredit bureau like Credit Expert from Experian isprobably much better.

Credit cards usually report within 60 days. However, you will need a minimum of 6 monthsbefore you have a score of any sort. Best way tobuild your score is to use the card and pay it infull every month.Don't waste money on monitoringservices. You really don't need to be checkingyour score every week or month.

Credit companies (car loans and home loans too)are typically about 30 to 60 days behind. If it'sa NEW card, the first recording could take 3months or a little more. My friend bought a carand it took 6 months to actually show up on hercredit report.
