If you get a personal loan from a local bank andmake your payments on time your credit score wouldgo up over time. If you already have bad creditconsider a secured loan (requires collateral ofsome sort). However, the positive factors fromthis loan would take some time (6 months to ayear) to actually improve your credit score.
