Question : What is the difference of mutual and equity fund?
I live in the philippines and what to invest some of my money . which company should I talk to? which is better of the two(equity and mutual fund)?

Basically Mutual fund consist of equity and bondfund. Equity has a better return if you compare tobond fund. Generally you should check the fundmanage company performance before you try toinvest in any fund.

Basically you should try to find out theperformance of each fund management company. Lookat their track records. The longer their trackrecord, the more reliable it is because such afund management company would have endurerecession and boom.Mutual funds is a larger set.Mutual funds can be equity funds, but equity fundsneed not be mutual funds. Mutual funds can beequity funds, balanced funds or bonds fundsdepending on the theme of the funds.Hope theinformation helps!
