Question : How do you go about reporting someone for identity fraud?
It appears as though someone we know has tried to use one of our social security #'s to get credit in their name. I am trying to find out how to report this.

Maybe you should call the fire department orsomething.Call the police or the attorney generalfor your state. Jesus, do you have no commonsense?

Man if you people only knew,,,,,U think the policeare even capable of handling IDtheft??????????Unless there are very large sums ofmoney involved the police usually don't botherwith this...U will have to do most of the leg workyourself,,and then when U have enough Evidence anda drained Credit score and bank account,,,thenmaybe the police can do something
