Answer #5 APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Do not take thefirst offer you get. Match them up against oneanother. If you want to build some credit record,go to your bank and ask for a Secured Credit Card.It is like a credit card but linked to yourchecking account. Do not confuse yourself with aDebit Card. It is almost the same, but you canbuild a credit history on it. - answered by hjbb
Answer #6 Go with a credit card that doesn't charge anopening fee, annual fee or anything like that, thats just riping you off!! And please of the loveof everything DON"T MAX OUT YOUR CREDIT!! I amstill paying off a $3000.00 (maxed out) creditcard that i have had for like 3 years now and amnot getting anywhere!!And the APR is thepercentage of your amount spent that you have topay every month. It changes month to monthdepending on how much you spend... it is aninterest rate that would make a shark loanblush!!!If you want a really good way of buildingcredit that doesn't include signing the contractwith the devil (credit card companies) go to thebank and take out a $500 loan. Put the $500 in abank account and DO NOT SPEND IT! Each month that$$ out of the $500 and pay the loan. Easy way todo it and you don't get stuck with a lot ofdebt!!!! - answered by Kelley

Many credit cards offer an introductory APR of 0for a pre defined period of time, after which anew APR is applied to balance on the credit card.
