Question : Credit report?
I just ran my credit report and there are several hits on it to say the least. Is it better to call the collection agencies directly and work out payment arraignments or should I call the credit consolidator people. And what is the best credit consolidator co to call?

All Answers: Answer #1 Just call the credit report company first. It's alot easier, cheaper and you won't risk getting ripoff. If you need to contact a collection agencylater on please do your homework and make sureit's a reputable company. Also get references. - answered by angel h
Answer #2 Depends on the dollar amounts of the debts youowe.If it is relatively small, then you want towork with the collection agencies on acase-by-case basis.All communication to thecollection agencies should be in writing. DO NOThandle this matter via the telephone. Answer #3 Your best bet is to contact the creditor directly. If you go through a credit counseler orconsolidator, your credit report will be trashed. You would be better off filing bankruptcy. However, first, contact the people you owe moneyto and work out payment arrangements. In a fewmonths, your score can be going back up. - answered by David L

Ahit in your CR in general means that ceditcompanies e.g loan officers, credit card companiescar loan companies have looked into your creditreport. I have a feeling that you are referringthe bad things on your creduit report. I wouldsuggest callingyour creditors and seeing if theyhave accesed any of your records and thenproceeding from there.
